Did you know you can limit your life by dwelling on the wrong things?
So often, wrong thinking keeps people stuck right where they are. If you think you'll never accomplish your dreams, then you'll stay stuck where you are. If you think you don't have the talent, the connections, or the funds, then you are limiting yourself.. We have to remember that God's promises never return void. His Word stands true forever! Don't limit what God can do in your life by focusing on what you see in the natural realm. You have to realize that you serve a supernatural God and just because you don't see a way doesn't mean that God doesn't have a way. God can bring one opportunity across your path that will thrust you to a whole new level. He has explosive blessings in store that can blast you out of where you are and into a place of abundance. If you'll shift your focus from this limited realm and start looking at God's supernatural realm, you'll see His unlimited possibilities for your future. Take the limits off by setting your thoughts on what Almighty God can do in your life today!
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, today I lift my eyes to You. You alone are the source of my strength, peace, and provision. I choose to delight myself in You knowing that You will give me the desires of my heart. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Today, dream big because we serve a God who can do more than we hope or imagine! Nothing is too great for Him! So, how big can you dream???

You're welcome Heather. It was just so perfect for how I am feeling about losing all this weight! I may be limited but through prayer and constant devotion to My Lord HE WILL Deliver the weight loss I ask for. DOes it mean he will do it completely for me no, but if I continue to work hard and serve him he will reward me with the joy of being thin and healthy. LAP 3 is HERE ALREADY! Let's all focus, PRAISE HIS NAME, and show through example how we care for our temples!
You know I watched Prince Caspian last night. There was bear about to attack Lucy and they didn't understand why the bear would, all Narnia's can talk and are peaceful. The dwarf said something along the lines of "If you are treated like you are just some big dumb bear, than thats what you will become". That really hit me. And it goes right along with todays blog. Negative talk whether to yourself or others is really harmful. The mind is very strong, I believe that if you are feeling down you can literally feel sick, and if you have a great positive attitude, you will feel and be healthier!!
You girls are both so right!! This morning I have really been battling negative thoughts. Finally, I just had to stop and completely give them to the Lord, who only wants the best for me, and quote the verse: "Whatsoever things are lovely, pure, admirable, excellent, praiseworthy, think on those things!" I can't remember where to find it, but it is still in my head from memorizing it years ago!!

This is all soo true. I work with felomy offenders and the entire basis of treatment is cognitive based which simply means changing thoughts. We attempt to have our clients change how they process information. It works by helping identify the rationalization and minimizing of behavior that allows the person to think that negative behavior is ok. For example, I have several "residents" that will say I sale drugs because those around me to and thats all I know or It was ok to kill him because he disrespected he. These nagative thoughts are reality to them so we attempt to make them aware of the power the mind has. To get back on weight loss, if you tell yourself I'm a cow and will never lose this weight~then you won't. Perception IS reality.
