
1. Do not berate yourself...spend some extra quiet time this morning and re-focus the day! Make a list of all the wonderful blessings in your life!
2. Go for a morning walk or hit the treadmill. It is going to help you get the day off to a great start!
3. Nibble on foods high in protein and complex carbs such as yogurt and berries; these take longer to digest and are released slowly into the bloodstream, which helps your blood sugar even out.
4. Whatever you do, do not starve yourself today...just go back to your normal eating patterns. Starvation will just get you onto the unhealthy diet cycle!
Continue in an attitude of thankfulness to the Lord...and, continue to enjoy the holiday!
