Hmm how am I going to measure my success. A little bit of weighing in but I don't have a lot to loose so mainly its going to just be my choices and decisions to be healthier.
My greatest Victory is drinking my water. That is the goal I am working on this week. Hubby is even drinking more too!!
My greatest Challenge is eating consistently. I am working these next few weeks on Logan's (my 10 month old) sleep and nap schedule. Once I get him scheduled, I think it will be easier for both of us to eat consistently, sleep consistently and be healthier overall!!
1. I am still going to weigh-in weekly. I am pretty much on maintenance mode with my weight now, but I really want to build muscle and exercise consistently. So, I am going to keep on weighing in, but also choose something from the Health Habits list each week to work on and you all can hold me accountable!
2. Last night I went to Olive Garden with Nathan. We ordered the Bruchetta (it's amazing) and Minestrone soup. A healthy alternative to some of the pasta options! I didn't leave feeling bloated, so that was a good thing!!
3. My greatest health challenge this week has been running out of my vitamins. I am usually right on top of it and never run out, but with the flurry of vacation...I RAN OUT!! Needless to say, I haven't used the bathroom in 3 days and I am feeling a little blah!!
Too much information for you all?? Probably! But, hey, I am being honest!! :) UPS contacted me and said they were bringing my box tonight! :) YAY!!
Love you all!! Praying for a WONDERFUL week!!
Heather,
Have you been eating your beans. You know what they say beans beans the magical fruit the more you eat the more you toot. I just couldn't resist.
I really enjoyed reading Jonathan's post. It was very enlightening.
My victory was feeling better because I am eating better. I have been exercising, but I am really looking forward to Jonathan's input about how to build muscle. I know we all focus on the scale, but how your clothes fit and how healthy you feel is more important.
My challenge will be to get my BMI down. Like Jonathan said it should be between 17 & 25. I'm at 27.
Hi everyone, sorry I am a day late. I am going to measure my success by my old pants. I really need to fit them, I'm running out of clothes to wear. I had to buy a few pair of pants after Haley which are 2 sizes larger than my normal ones but now the issue is, I've lost alot of the pregnancy weight but its repositioned itself. The pants I had to buy are too big BUT mine are too small still and I dont want to buy more in between pants. That was a mouthful :)
My victory this week was getting on the treadmill TWICE on Monday My challenge is that I didn't exercise Tues or Wed. I'm having some issues with my sinuses and I'm feeling run down not to mention that Haley still doesn't sleep all night.
I need to get on track so to help with that I ordered some multi vitamins from Heather, maybe mine came with hers :)
Sounds like everyone is off and running. Keep up the good work!!!
I to am a day late, but they say better late then never. I am the newbie here so I'm still getting acclimated to the process.
I plan to measure my success with actual weight loss. With a little help and motivation from all of you I plan on reaching my goal.
My victory this week has been that I have stayed away from fast food.
My challenge has been I have not exercised everyday like I want too. With my job I am behind a desk all day and do not get a lot of physical movement so the daily exercise needs to be in my routine.
